Today, August 25, 2009, my suspense/thriller A Savage Wisdom reached #6 in its Amazon.com Kindle category (Murder & Mayhem). For comparison, Truman Capote's In Cold Blood is at 4 and Columbine is at 1.
The novel is based on the life of Toni Jo Henry, the only woman executed in Louisiana's electric chair.
I am a professor of English at Southeastern Louisiana University with 30 years of successful writing experience. Since my August 25 posting, A SAVAGE WISDOM has reached a ranking of #5 three times as a Kindle book on Amazon.com.
ReplyDeleteMy novel is an "imaginative reconstruction" of Toni Jo Henry's life.
